Losses vs wins don't seem to change the amount of HK's received (Unlike AB): Games usually last about ~10 minutes (AB's usually last ~20, sometimes even as many as 25).Įach game gives a range of ~35-90 HK's, depending on whether or not Alliance attempts for WS in the beginning or we confront them over Docks. I was reluctant at first, and didn't think it was very likely going to be any good, but here's the comparison: Today I tried something new, IoC, only because others told me about it. In the process, of the ~60 hours, I got roughly ~7.5k HK's. I won roughly 50% of the games, maybe more. When we had ST and were farming their GY, I was in the water between BS and ST. When they had BS, I was at BS in stealth attempting to ninja it whenever I could. I farmed AB for approximately 60 hours over the last week (I am a Rogue).
I just like to switch around on my gameplay once in a while, but I would like to be doing AVs where I only get 7-15 HKs per round, if you understand me :)Ĭomment by HelloKittyHere's a tidbit of relevant empirical trials in farming this. I havn't found Strand of The Ancients very fun, and it hardly gives me any HKs now that it has been turned into a race, with super fast vehicles ( Patch 4.0.3a ) Make a gank squad and run around, killing people in Tol Barad Peninsoulia ( may not be as effective on low servers, or as fast as battlegrounds, but sure is fun ) Premade a good group and corpse camp at a BG graveyard for hours.
IT will give you a few hundred honor kills. Turling in AV is also pretty efficient, if you can make it happen. So start working on your Battlemaster title, if you already havn't and your Justicar / Conquerer, if you havn't done that as well.īefore Cataclysm hit, there was a bug in IoC on the European realms which had put the hangar out of service, and thus made alot more pvp going on in-between the fortresses, and made it easily possible to gain 100 HKs per game you lost, and about 200 Hks per game you won, this bug has been fixed since then, but those slow games may still occur for me. To ease the grind out, I may suggest that you should be trying for the other PvP achievements as well, and group up with you friends as often as possible, as it improves the game experience by 200% at the least! Obviously you are doing Tol Barad every time its available, and obviously you are doing Battlegrounds in between, but in which Battleground and with what tactic have you found the most efficient? I was just interested, in hearing you people out on how you plan or how you currently are grinding for this achievement. I am sure there, are lots of people grinding for this title, including myself.
